Agriculture

Over 300 volunteers from all around the world participate in this project annually. It will allow you to become integrated into a Norwegian family by taking part in all activities on the farm and in the home: feeding the animals, cleaning the stables, gardening, helping at harvest time, etc. The program lasts from eight to twelve weeks and participants must be able to speak English. Volunteers do not need any specific qualifications, although previous experience in agriculture would be useful.

Minimum stay: 2 months
Maximum stay: 3 months
Age limits: 18 to 29 years old
Registration fee: $555 CAD + tax
Participation fee: 336 Euro ($430 CAD)*** for 2 months, 390 Euro ($499 CAD)*** for 3 months
Registration deadline: 4 to 6 months before the departure date.
What's included: Pre-departure orientation session, food, lodging with a host family* and a salary of $890 NOK per week ($148 CAD) ***
