Work on an Agro-Ecological Farm

This farm-school is located in the heart of Costa Rica's rich and magnificent natural setting. The social mission of this organization is to promote sustainable development in Costa Rica all the while promoting harmony between local communities and the environment. In order to reach these goals, the farm focuses on activities such as producing organic fertilizers, raising animals, plant cultures, cereals, fruit and vegetables, education and ecotourism. Volunteers must therefore expect to do manual work in collaboration with people from the neighbouring communities.

Minimum stay : 2 weeks
Maximum stay: 3 months
Age limits : 18 to 66 years old
Registration fee : $555 CAD + tax
Participation fee : $20 USD per day ($21 CAD)***
Registration deadline: 3 months before the departure date.
What's included:Pre-departure orientation session, technical support, accommodation and meals*
Language Requirements: English and of course it is helpful to have some knowledge of spanish.
