Since 1999, under the framework of the Youth Action's International Youth Internship Program, Horizon Cosmpolite obtained from the Government of Canada nearly 100 fully funded internships for graduates. HorizonCosmopolite's responsibilities were to coordinate the paid internships for young Canadian graduates in various domains which were sponsored by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Foreign Affairs Canada, Canadian Heritage and Human Resources and Social Development Canada. The results that we have had with these internships are very impressive. We believe that these internships enabled our graduates to stand out, reach beyond their limits, grow in self awareness and become agents of change in their communities. We encourage you to visit the section "Intern Success Stories" in order to better understand the impact that these internships have had on the lives of the participants. We also believe that these internships were well received by the international community. We received positive feedback from our partners abroad. Unfortunately, we will not be offering internships for 2008 - 2009. The criteria have changed and are not aligned with our adopted approach; therefore we have decided not to offer internships next year. However, the internships will be offered by other organizations.
