Activities:
- Several community organizations in Copan need volunteers. For an even more comprehensive learning experience, you could work in a school, a kindergarden, a medical clinic, a cooperative farm, etc.
- The school organizes weekly outings, including hikes in the mountains, rides to Santa Barbara Falls, visits to ruins and museums, horseback rides and visits to indigenous villages.
- Copan is an ideal place to learn Spanish and to discover another culture. The village has a rich past with over 2000 years of history
- The food is of good quality, however there is less variety than you
will find in Canada.
- If required, vegetarian menus can be prepared.
