Activities:
- If you want to invest yourself in a community project, you can work
in many different field : teaching English or French at the school,
working in a day care centre, working with the elderly, volunteering
for agriculture programs...
- The school helps to organize many activities: Traditional cooking
classes, Capoeira dance classes, Afro-brasilian dance classes, tours
of the city, excursions to beaches, trips to the "Praia do Forte"
a fishing village...
- The food is of good quality, however there is less variety than you
will find in Canada.
- If required, vegetarian meals can be prepared.
N.B: The Pourtuguese courses will be adapted to your level of proficiency and the vocabulary will be tailored to your profession.
