INFORMATION ABOUT TOGO
Located between Ghana, Burkina Faso and Benin, Togo is one of the smallest countries in Africa. It contains an amazing variety of cultural and geographical acpect. More than 40 ethnic groups coexist. The voodoo celebrations, the Muslim and Catholic traditional color and beautify the country all year round.

The topography of the coast is lined with coconut trees recalling the South Pacific, the green mountains, with rolling hills, picturesque valleys and peaceful lagoons. In the far north, savannas teeming with wildlife. Togo has a lot to offer and unanimously won the heart of the travelers. Beyond the beauty of its landscapes, the country is known for the friendliness and hospitality of the Togolese.

Population: 6 millions
 
Ethnicity: There are more than 40 ethnic groups, the more important ones are Ewe, Mina, and Kabre.
 
Languages : The official language is French; The Ewe and Mina represent the two major linguistic subgroups in the South of the country. Kabye and Dagomba are the most popular linguistic subgroups in the North of Togo.
 
Religions : Christian 20%, Muslim 10%, indigenous beliefs 70%
