Honduras has a remarkable tourist diversity that allows both to discover the pre-Columbian civilization, the Latin American culture and a tropical nature surrounded by beautiful beaches. This friendly country offers to enter the fascinating Mayan ruins of Copán, explore the heart of the Ruta Lenca and the surrounding mountains to the many colonial towns, penetrating to the heart of the majestic rainforests, home to exotic fauna, of walk and paddling, surrounded by lush flora of the many national parks, diving to explore the kaleidoscopic reefs surround the Bay Islands and finally relax on the stunning beaches of the Caribbean Coast.
Courses :
- Taught by private teachers, courses will be adapted to your level of Spanish.
Activities:
- Several community organizations in Copán need volunteers. For an even more comprehensive learning experience, you could work in a school, a kindergarden, a medical clinic, a cooperative farm, etc.
- The school organizes weekly outings, including hikes in the mountains, rides to Santa Barbara Falls, visits to ruins and museums, horseback rides and visits to indigenous villages.
- Copán is an ideal place to learn Spanish and to discover another culture. The village has a rich past with over 2000 years of history.
Food:
- The food is of good quality, however there is less variety than you will find in Canada.
- If required, vegetarian menus can be prepared.
